Hey there
My name is Robert Nida, but most call me Tommy (Don’t ask why). I am a God-fearing studio artist who tries to focus on traditional methods. Growing up, I always had a talent for the fine arts. It was only when I entered college that I realized that I had an affinity for the older styles. People like Cézanne, Carracci, and Jean Pucelle brought incredible works into the world. Sadly, I believe that art has since move away from these styles and the people who founded them. Now only referencing them in the classroom, we have moved into an era of fine art that has lost it’s purpose: to move the viewer. So unless a banana taped to the wall makes you tear up, I think we can agree something needs to change. That’s why I have studied the old ways and will bring them into the present, so fine art may have a meaningful future. With God as my inspiration and motivation, I hope to leave a legacy of works worthy of matching and even surpassing the Old Masters of fine art.
